College Transition Coaching & Support
Individualized Guidance for Students Navigating College with a Disability
College brings new expectations, independence, and responsibility—often all at once. For students with disabilities, this transition can feel overwhelming without the right support in place.
Our College Transition Coaching & Support Program provides personalized, disability-informed coaching to help students successfully navigate college before enrollment and throughout their college experience.
This program supports students who are preparing for college as well as students who are already enrolled and struggling to manage college-level demands.
A Coaching-Based Approach
This is not a class or group program. College Transition Coaching is delivered through one-on-one support that focuses on building skills, confidence, and independence over time.
We work alongside students to help them:
Understand expectations and responsibilities
Learn how to access and use supports effectively
Develop systems that work for their needs
Our goal is accountability without dependence—providing support while gradually stepping back as students gain confidence and self-direction.
Areas of Support
Support is tailored to each student and may include:
College preparation and onboarding support
(applications, placement testing, enrollment tasks, schedules, and systems)Navigating disability accommodations and accessibility services
Executive functioning support, including:
Organization and planning
Time management
Task initiation and follow-through
Self-advocacy and communication with professors and campus staff
Ongoing problem-solving and check-ins during the semester
This program does not replace college disability services, tutoring, or therapy. Instead, it helps students learn how to manage expectations and use available supports effectively.

Want to attend college but feel unsure how to manage the process
